Wildcats Fall the to No. 1 Team, Connecticut 74-35
In its third home game in the last eight days, Villanova (11-7, 0-5 Big East) hosted top-ranked and unbeaten Connecticut (19-0, 6-0 Big East) and was defeated by a score of 74-35 on Saturday afternoon in front of a season-high 3,723 at the Pavilion. Senior guard Maria Getty (Centerville, Ohio) scored 11 points to lead the Wildcats.
