A second half Syracuse rally proved to be the difference maker as the Marquette women’s basketball team fell 69-60 at Syracuse Saturday afternoon at the Carrier Dome. Erica Morrow sunk seven free throws and Nichole Michael hit a critical layup while drawing the foul as part of 10-3 run over the final minute to give Syracuse the win. The Orange improves to 18-5 overall, 5-5 in BIG EAST play, while the loss puts MU at 13-9 overall, 4-5 in BIG EAST play.
